ONLINE CARTOONING CURRICULUM

Every week, Toonworld takes your children on a virtual journey filled with fun and creative cartooning challenges posed by the evil Rubbix. Together we can defeat the enemy and stop him from stealing our creativity and imagination!
Our cartooning lesson will give confidence to your children and help developing their self-expression.  

WEEK 1

Introduction to Toonworld
Children will discover the magic of Toonworld, a place were all drawings are perfect no matter how good or bad kids think they draw. Also will get to know the evil “Rubbix” the rubber man, who wants to steal childrens creativity and imagination.
Learn the basics of cartoons character creation.
This lesson is designed to free kids imagination and enrol them in a world of possibilities allowing them to be fine with their own skill level when it comes to drawing.

WEEK 2

Learn the principles of facial expressions in cartoons.
This lesson is designed to make children understand the importance of showing expressions in cartoons to give character to their drawings.

WEEK 3

Learn the principles of head and body shapes.
This lesson is designed to make kids understand that there is no right or wrong or a particular way to create characters.
Cartoon characters can be simple and still be fun and effective for children stories of their own creation.

WEEK 4

Learn the principles of drawing cartoons arms and legs.
In this lesson children will learn easy ways to create and add cool arms and legs to their characters.

WEEK 5

Learn how to put your cartoon characters in a comic book poster.
This lesson is designed to put all the learning together.
